McAfee VirusScan is a quality antivirus program. The software is very effective at stopping viruses and has received the highest certification available.
McAfee has put all the features you"ll need into the software including spyware detection, email and instant message monitoring, and script blocking. McAfee has done a lot of research surrounding the detection of new viruses and is therefore is one of the leaders.
One issue with McAfee is that the registration process and software updates were a little confusing and took more of our time than we would have liked.
Customer support includes email and phone support as well as FAQ's and complete help documentation. Although the customer support options are acceptable, they are not nearly as responsive as we like to see.
Overall, McAfee VirusScan is one of the leaders in virus protection offering an up-to-date complete product.
